log in BEFORE entering the forum

i want members who come on my site to be forced to Log in, and not enter dirrectly on my forum
if this option is available, please give me the right steps

WEll , just set your forum Permission that only Guest can't view.

Admin panel > forum > Managent > Click on forum > Permision

then you have to edit all of the forums permissions
also I think you can get like a water mark so more people would sign up.

I am not sure if I am allowed to help or not.

But when a member logs in it comes up with a option to have auto sign in or remeber my username and password. If they click yes then it will auto log them in everytime.

Someone please correct me if I am wrong

I will try to explain this as best as I know how to...
Do you know when your setting up your topics and catergories?
After you put in the topic name and description and click the ok button, it should take you to a screen to edit and cutomise your "permissions".
Is this making sence so far?
In that section you will see a grid.
In that grid you will have ummm visitors, members, admin, mods and so on.
next to the group there will be boxes.. uncheck it for visitors in ALL your topics. otherwise they will still see.

Yes, you may also access this for topics and threads that have already been made by going into the admin panel => Forum=>Permissions=> Forum Permissions control, there you can select any topic or thread that you made and modify it's permissions.
