Can a user disable smilies?? Empty Can a user disable smilies??

Hello,

Whilst we love smilies on my forum, they are an issue for some people when browsing at work. I have seen that if you go to your Proflie>>> preferences>>>always enable smilies ... you can set it at 'no'.

However, I've given that a go and smilies are still there and visible.

Can anyone advise how they might be disabled?? Thank you.

Delete them all in the ACP.

My apologies ... but what is the ACP?

I don't want to delete smilies for all, but I was wondering if there was an option for individual users to disable them from their view when visiting the forum. Thanks!

Hi,

The ACP, is the sort term of Administration Control Panel, also commonly known ad "Admin panel" or "AP", and if your French, "PA" (Panel of administration)

The only way to disable them for specific users is via the profile as you have already mentioned unfortunately TT
