Need some serious help with the width of my portal.

The width of my portal is way to big and no matter what I do, none of the 2 columns on the left and right stay equal... Both are always different sizes. So how do I reduce the width.

And also, My site is way to slow when you scroll down, any ideas to not make that happen?

Try going to Admin panel >> Modules >> Portal managment >> Structure >> Make the settings like mine here http://i.imm.io/7AEJ.png

It could be cause of the chat in the middle.

Well ok its good, I just got to make the chat bigger. And if you were the one the posted on my chat, then I dont think so because on the preview of the skin, it doesn't have a chat box. And it was still kinda slow when I came back to it. I may just choose another skin but this one is very good.

And for now its good but the reason I made it like that is so it can look good with the chat box, a bigger one looks wierd but if you can give me anything to lessen the width from the code that will be great. I can put up the code if you want.
