In progress How to add a Link Directory

Post by CARTOONISTS November 12th 2011, 1:50 pm

Hi

http://www.cartoonist-forum.com/f40-artist-directory

I'd like to add an artists link directory feature to my forum and have cobbled something together myself but ideally I'd like to use something that is specifically designed for this purpose and can work with these forums.

Do you have anything?

Thanks

Hello,

I'm a bit lost on what you want. Could you explain to me again?

Hi Mr Mario

certainly, my psot was a tad ambiguous Smile

As an example, this forum has a business directory
http://www.graphicdesignforums.co.uk/links/
(This is where I got the idea from in fact)

and it is available from forum host for a small fee
http://www.vbadvanced.com/

"vBadvanced Links Directory allows you to quickly setup and easily maintain an advanced directory of links that's completely integrated with your vBulletin forums. Features include unlimited categories, sub-categories, user comments, ratings, reciprocal link checking, custom fields, user favorites, e-mail subscriptions, SEO friendly URLs, and much more! With over 100 configuration settings and 35 usergroup permission options, most every aspect can be enabled or disabled through your Admin CP."

It would be ace if you had something similar??
