Can't access the admin panel

For some reason, I can't access the admin panel. And when I add "/admin" to the url, is says I'm not allowed to administrate the board.

And I'm not the founder, I'm an appointed admin.

You can only access the Admin Panel if you are the founder or you are put in the founders group.

And the founder said I should be able to. He doesn't know why I can't use the Admin panel.

oh actually i misunderstood you the first time.
tell him to make sure you are in the admin group. if he is telling you that you are but you see no admin link at the bottom of the page and you cant log in this way.

then he is full of it. dunno? just ask him to make sure your in there and if he says you are but you have no way to get in the panel.then tell him you will create another account and to put you in there.then you can go in and see what happened and still your other account.

and if he still says this. then he must not want you as a admin. i don't know but it seems a Lil fishy to me why he would tell you your in there but you have no way in.

just to double check something:

Get the founder to go to
Admin panel >> Users & Groups ( Tab ) >> Groups Administration > Administrator; the one with the crown on it > Re-add you in there.

Get the founder top do that first before you make a new account please.

Um, the only group is the moderators group, and the other admins aren't in that.

There should be a group with a crown on it in the Groups administration in the admin panel.

Get the founder to confirm that you are in that group please.

it might be they have you as the rank admin. but you are not put into the group.

but if you are a admin in the admin group then you would be able to access the admin panel. there is no way that you can be in that group and not have access.
so i don't know if they are toying with you or if there is a real problem. but i would ask them to double check and if that don't work then tell them to create a test account and put you in there with that or tell them you will create another account and them to put you in there.

it just seems very strange. that's about all i can suggest at this time.
or ask your forum owner/founder of the board to come to this thread and explain to us. if this is a tech glitch it's definitely a new one to me? something is just not adding up.

Uh... I'm not sure if we have an admin group... all I saw was the moderator group...

If you have received your rank only natural that you have access to the admin panel, but if you added the administrators group should have access to admin panel

Has the founder added you on this page?: (if not... ask)
