Hi,
For account activation,
If you choose automatic activation, the user account will be activated immediately after he registers on your site.
If you choose user, the user has to active the account via the email he will receive after submitting the registration form.
If you choose admin, you need to activate the new accounts manually from the Admin CP > Users & Groups
