Pass used at forum creation

I have a problem. I friend of mine has created a forum a year ago, but since then he has left the forum to me, including his head admin account. However, there has been an "attack" on the forum, and many messages have been deleted. I'd like to use the Utilities to restore them, but I cannot find the pass my friend used at forum creation. He does not remember it, and this is what it says in the e-mail sent by forumotion on the day the forum was created:

| Password : it is the password you had chosen in creation process

Is there a way to get the password back? Please help, it is really important!

No you can ask the staff to reset it for you that way you can change it to some thing you know if you are the new founder of the site Wink

The thing is, I know which pass we have now, and I can enter the head admin account, but I cannot use Utilities...
(I am still learning to get around forumotion, so sorry if I am kind of stupid.... Very Happy

)

No mate its not stupid at all I don't ever think like that we are all new to some thing in this site even me lol

If you send an PM to the staff on that link I'm sure there help you get a new one for the tools you need you can then log in there and change the Email address and password to some thing you know.

Don't ever think your self Stupid mate i know your not you did the right thing by asking First.

Helpers and staff on this site work hard to help out when ever needed thats why we are here Wink
