Problem with registration

Hello!
I just spoke with someone who tries to register to my foroum but could not do it.
The reason was that "this e-mail is already in use by a member".
I went to the administration panel thinking that she probably had already registed and she forgot her username and i found out that there was no member with this e-mail.
I tried to register on her behalf (to verify that the problem was true) and the same thing happened!
How can this happen??!! The e-mail doesn't appear to me "in use by a member" but when she registers it sais so...
How can i help her register??

Try to check from Administration Panel => Users & Groups => Users => Inactive users.

Thank you for the reply! I didn't see her on the list but after i activated all of the inactive users I could find her in the members search list!
Problem solved!

*I didn't know i couldn't use bold and colors, i imagined that since i'm able to use them there will be no problem in spicing up my plain text!!!
