How to find IP adress of user without messages?

Hi,
I got phpBB3 forum. I need to ban an IP address. Some person is sending a lot of spam by private messages. When I delete this user, he reregister and he send spam again.
I read topics about that I can see IP address on written post or in administration panel when he is on-line, but he log in at night and it is hard to get him.
Is on this forum a list of users logged in last 24h with Ip address? Can I somehow get IP address using PW or e-mail sended by spammer?

I think it will be easier to add a possibility to see a list of last 24h logged users with IP address. I saw few times that tool in others forums.
