Marking a group as primary?
Hi,
How do I designate a group as primary?
Let's just say...
(1) Administrator
(2) Moderator
(3) VIP
If I wanted the VIP color to show on my username, how would I do so without changing the order of the groups?

Re: Marking a group as primary?
what you mean you will be in both admin and VIP group but you want to have the vip color instead of admin color?
I belive you will have to place the vip group over the admin group..

Re: Marking a group as primary?
you can with forumotion too?
You need to explain exactly what it is your trying to do..
If your haveing some members in more then one group and only want one of the groups colors to show then it all has to do with what order you have the groups in.
Unless you choose not to show a certain color for any given group.
Like if you are in the vip group and you want that color show instead of the admin color.
Then you can select not to show the admin color, But now lets say you have other admins that you want the color to show but are only in the admin group.. Well now you have to leave the admin color show and place the vip group over the admin group.
Please explain more

Re: Marking a group as primary?
Ok,
I have an option for users to purchase their own groups with points.
However, what if they are also in the VIP group & moderator group, then how will they display their purchased group color? I definitely do not want to order their group over administrator, because then they can add anyone to their group and ruin the other member's color.

Re: Marking a group as primary?
may be give them a rank or ask them what group color they want if they are in more then one group. You can only display them as one group color.
So may be making them ranks with a image will be better?

Re: Marking a group as primary?
Hi,
Maybe this will work. Try adding this into your CSS.

Re: Marking a group as primary?
I will do just that.
It should override it hopefully.
It's extra work, but it'll do for now!

Re: Marking a group as primary?
Yes, you'll have to be doing that. Since there isn't another method. Also, it's a good thing since it's just VIP members
