some form of advertising ruining forum ?

Hi All,

hoping someone can point me in the right direction and advise what i need to do. most of my members including me and my admin account are getting the following (see screen shot) on the forum.

any advise on what, why and how i remove it would be very much appreciated.

just to note, i have tried restoring the skin back a week and nothing changed.

I believe it's the background image. Someone might deleted. Try changing through here: ACP>>Display>>Pics management>>Advance mode.

Have you recently did any changes via CSS? In other words, any CSS codes for the forum's background?

the only thing i have done, is act on a new member having issues with posting links to photos, i went to: general, security, and clicked from yes to no on the following setting:
Unauthorize members with less than a week registration to post external links and emails :

next day i had this. today i tried to click that setting back but no change.

i have done nothing else for ages in admin, ive checked logs and nout else been done by the other admin or mods.

Well, you have try to rollback your forum using your utilities? Also, when you check the theme in Hitskin does it appear the same way as well?

just checked it on hitskin and its the same as on my forum. so does that mean its the template and i need to change?

if i preview an alternative skin, they look fine.

In other words to what Rideem said, you'll have to change the Image's background. Try looking throughout the CSS

Thank you both very much for your help. i will change the template and get it sorted.

and just to note, i am not bumping the topic, i am trying to pass as much information as possible to get the right help that i need. im not a forum bumper and i think its easy to see that when you read the topic back. however, noted to edit should i need to post again.

There is no need to change theme.

Leave your forum link here and will tell you where is the image found exactly so you can replace it.
