I'd suggest to use this tutorial, and use the codes that are provided by Google instead of the one's in the thread. The codes that I have provided are outdated and no-longer work, the new version will be online shortly. The method is the exact same, it just needs the codes changed

yea, all i did was make a widget and put the google code into it and it worked great

how different would your personal custom translate work?

I won't be personally translating it, I'm simply updating the codes provided from Yahoo, which is no longer active, to most likely the code that you used, provided by Google.
I don't have a deadline for it, I've got a few things going right now, but it is on the top half of my massive to do list
