Profiles (Badges) sometimes glitch/Announcements? What is going on?
I have been to my forum on a few various computers the badges work fine and the cascade down one each vertically. But today I went to use a friends laptop and all the badges(profile awards) were just piling up horizontally.
I took a screenshot of what happened:
Normally they go down vertically. That is the way I see it, and how most computers currently see it. I was wondering if there was a code or something I should do to set them to always cascade vertically and not pile up like that.
EDIT: What the heck is going on, using this same computer even my anouncements are broken.
This is the broken announcement:
This is what I normally see:
Also it's not only that computer anymore even on certain browsers these things are happening. But when I use it on google chrome and some of my other users use it it works fine. What the heck is going on im really worried now.
All help and opinions are appreciated

Re: Profiles (Badges) sometimes glitch/Announcements? What is going on?
what browser is he using, seems like a browser issue.
Other then that i need your forum link so i can test on all my browsers and try to determine what it is?
info added
This may be in relation to your avatar size thread problem.
do you have a member in the same thread with a huge avatar?
If so then thats the problem it is making your profile field stretch.
for a temp fix, i would go into any members profile via admin panel, and delete their avatar then tell then to re-up it, once you have your avatar dimensions set to what you want it will re-up to that size. Note: That is if this problem is in the same relation to your avatar problem.

The first time I ever saw this issue it was when I visited the website using a friends laptop. I then went to my website with internet explorer and another brower called SwiftBrowse on my computer here is what happened:
This is what it should look like and what I see on chrome and firefox:
A thread example:
A forum announcement
This is what it looks like when I access it with internet explorer:
The announcement again:
(it's a scrolling announcement but notice the forum background colors change and don't match my background for the image)
Explaining it further because it's a confusing problem
I have been developing my forum and checking to see if everything works this entire time with google chrome on my own computer. Recently I tried going to my website using internet explorer on another computer and I realized that it was messing up my forum badges(awards) seen in the 3rd picture. It was also messing up the color of my announcements seen in the last picture. I thought maybe it was just this one computer but then I tried using internet explorer on my computer and it did the same thing.
So I now decided to check 2 other computers using internet explorer and it does the exact same thing. It is making all of the forum badges(awards) push horizontally squishing the post box and making it ridiculously small. The badges(awards) are ment to line up vertically as seen in the first picture. What also really confuses me is how it is changing the colors on my forum, in the 3rd picture it shows my forum announcement normally and it blends in with the background, but in the 4th picture simply changing browsers caused it not to be in sync with the background of the announcement anymore.
This is very confusing

Re: Profiles (Badges) sometimes glitch/Announcements? What is going on?
it's the browser. Try updating internet explorer.
How did you set this up with any code or scripts or did you do all this with the settings in your admin panel?
If it is a script or code you used then it is not compatible with IE and or other certain browsers.
If not then you should update it IE or even downgrade back to IE 7 OR 8.
other then that i am going to have to go and see what it's like on my browser and see whats what.
Also give me the link to what thread or post these are in. i dont know where it's at or what member that is you have all the badges/ranks for?

It's all threads that contain a user posting with more than 1 badge. It's also for every IE i've tried on 3 computers

Re: Profiles (Badges) sometimes glitch/Announcements? What is going on?
yeah i dont know i guess it's a IE issue, it's doing the same thing for me when i use IE but it's not like this on any other browser?
and how did you set these up with advanced profile fields?
try to separate them with a line in your field options.
in the screen shot you sent i see you have no choice selected.
I am testing it as well.
info added
seems like adding the option back to line worked for me.
If not then you can always set up a rank image with all images as one.
kind of like this like this?
example

Wohoo back to the line worked. This helps so much. It seems now the only difference is the colors changing and throwing off certain things. But I will go ahead and set this thread to solved. Thank you so much kirk
