If you've noticed people uses social networks instead of forums now a days.

Do you think forums will not be anymore needed knowing social networks can create forums and other pages through applications?

I would never classify forums as private! In fact, they are less private than social media. A forum is a community of wonderful people (many that you don't know) from around the web. Forums are a great place to bond new relationships.

if there was a social plug-in for forumotion to link to sites like facebook, twitter etc... then i think more people would use forums, but that is just my opinion

forum is better and more convenient

I agree

I like forums more becuse that they offer a lot more customization and invites to more deeper discussions than just "oh god that's so nice".

The forums are more boring than social networks. On social networks is more life. So, I choose Social Networks.

Forums all the way! I like both, but you know, I spend most of time (when I'm on computer) on forums.

Forums are more private than the social networks likes facebook and won't be "Deleted" by the companies....

Well forums can be deleted by the companies when they break the Terms of Service.

 That's for sure. but those social network companies can deleted fan pages without any reasonable reason........

Someone referred this website to me for all the right reasons. Checked it out and been liking it ever since.

I say both are very important for promoting, advertising and also making friends..

Yes they can, but they won't without a reason, they have nothing to gain by doing so.

There have smaller number of forums, and social network have more and more users.
But I love forums.
