smilies Empty smilies

Post by kirkby1red January 28th 2008, 1:12 pm

Hello everyone,

Could someone please tell me how I could add some smilies into the forum - not the ones provided by forumotion but from another site?

I have downloaded some smilies I like and saved them in 'My Pictures' on my computer. When I go to Admin/Smilies/Add a new Smilie/Browse I get the 'My Pictures' page up on screen.

I then select the smilie I want and click open, then save.

The details appear in the Browse bar, but when I click Save, I keep getting a message -
Error
The Smiley code must have a minimum of 2 caracters

I get this message even though the name of the smilie has more than 2 letters or numbers in the title.

Can anyone tell me a way round this?

Thanks

the smilie code is not its filename. this is the code you have to enter in the forum to show up the respective emoticon. for example

Code:
with ":)" the following smilie shows up instead:
Smile

and this code has to be at least two characters, so you probably forgot to enter one. Wink
