The problem should be fixed now.

A DNS change has caused this problem. Now, the base DNS configuration has been restored.

Please clear your cache and cookies and check if this issue is fixed, as it should be.

If it's not, here are some different operations that can help to fix the issue :

• Close your browser
  
• Reboot your Internet connection
  
• Clear the DNS cache with an ipconfig/flushdns process (How to do this ?)
  
• If that still doesn't work, save your current DNS info somewhere else and try to change temporarily your DNS for the DNS provided by Google (How to do this ?)
  
  If after all these operations, you still have the loading issues, please provide us :
  
  
• The forum(s) concerned
  
• A screenshot of the error message
  
• Your ISP

Facebook is known to be occasionally incorrect

hello guys i too have been experiencing probs with my website

and the easy way to get on to it is a vpn (Virtual Private Network)

you can download a free one from here

just down load and install one run and connect then try to get on your website

i use SecurityKiss

The solutions that paulpattonproductions posted is actually much simpler and more generic than the solution I posted. If you are comfortable with changing your computer's settings, your best bet is to Google how to do them. There are too many permutations to try to post "how-to's" here.

If you are not comfortable altering your settings yourself, but still want/need access, I would be more than happy to help anyone via PM or screen-share. I'm a sysadmin, I do this stuff all the time, and have actually done it for several of my site's members so they can get access again. If you would like my assistance, please PM me. I can't promise that I'll be able to help everyone within seconds, but within 15-30 minutes should be possible.

For those who are becoming frustrated with the repeated instructions to flush your DNS: this is not a "local" problem, i.e. local to your computer. It is one level above that (most likely your ISP). This seems to be strictly a DNS problem, which can take anywhere from 5 minutes to 3 days to resolve itself, even if the FM folks have fixed the underlying cause. That's why bypassing your ISP's DNS servers (via the hosts file or the network settings) works.

Haha, lot of proxys aren't trusted, because you can hide your ip and spam with that. Just to inform you - that site hasn't got any viruses

Not sure about the [only topic] bit of this thread, but the rest of it yes, I am also having issues loading my forum and forumotion this is what I get:

I have to refresh a few times or close everything out and restart my browser. I use FF but i tried with the others and get the same thing. I am from the US.

One of my moderators cannot access the forum but he can access other forums?????

I can access my forum but he cannot! I believe that the problem is from forumotion ... maybe her IP had blocked ... i don't know the reason!

I pinged one of the forumotion forums and got the following:

q27.dnspro.org <- Definitely looks like a DNS problem on forumotions side.

Whatever it was, but the problem seems to be fixed now... after almost 2 days I can finally access and load my forums again YAAAAAY!

The same problem was on the foroactivo forums (the side of spanish forum). I think was a global problem with the host, but now all is good

Same for my moderator : Country Greece, Provider Cyta forum www.naviusers.net perhaps mac address is blocked, because he can access the forum from his phone but not from pc ....
