Hello,

The problem should be fixed now.

A DNS change has caused this problem. Now, the base DNS configuration has been restored.

Please clear your cache and cookies and check if this issue is fixed, as it should be.

If it's not, here are some different operations that can help to fix the issue :

• Close your browser
  
• Reboot your Internet connection
  
• Clear the DNS cache with an ipconfig/flushdns process (How to do this ?)
  
• If that still doesn't work, save your current DNS info somewhere else and try to change temporarily your DNS for the DNS provided by Google (How to do this ?)
  
  If after all these operations, you still have the loading issues, please provide us :
  
  
• The forum(s) concerned
  
• A screenshot of the error message
  
• Your ISP

I'm still having trouble with one of my sites. I can access two of them via changing the host file. Don't bother telling me changing the host file was a bad idea and I'll just have to change it back. I'm aware of that and have NO PROBLEM going back in and editing the changes (when the issue is actually fixed for me). I tried all other suggestions and I still can't load my forum. Besides, I trust the person who posted the host file 'fix' (temporary though it is) because they do this kind of thing for a living and wouldn't suggest it if it was going to break things.

Anyway, this is the site I've left alone (no change to the host file for it as it's a dead site anyway and used mostly for one on one RPing) and it still won't load after doing all the above suggested 'fixes' (again, aside from changing the host file as I wanted a site to check for when the issue was resolved so I could remove the changes to the host file).

Everyone gets the white screen how the site couldn't be opened and a suggestion to check connection or refresh.

Hope this gets sorted out soon.

I was unable to log on yesterday...this morning I was back on. But a lot of my members are having trouble. Some for 2 days now.

Users are having problems accessing my forum today, still. Yesterday, some members in the US had trouble. Today, so far our only complaint (in the small group) is from Canada, but there may be others abroad who cannot access it.

I am still having problems with my forum

One of my friends can't access a forum I'm a member on, along with some others having problems as well. He's tried most to all of the fix methods.

Yesterday it worked perfectly fine for me, but for most of the users it didn't worked at all. Now it works for them, but it doesn't work for me anymore. Really weird...

P.S. - Now I'm using a proxy IP, because with my IP I can't connect to any forums hosted by Forumotion.

- Also, I haven't changed any settings lately, so I don't see how the problem can be from my PC...

My forum worked as well temporarily for the last hour (http://universalapps.canadian-forum.com/forum); however, it suddenly seems to have stopped working as of now. It seems to be that my forum is still having the problems as I posted before though it did work occasionally today. I hope this problem is resolved soon.

Can anyone tell us what the technicians think is wrong?

It's still not back for me.

Not sure if the site is part of forummotion or not but I've had the same problem here. It started out in spurts that would last for an hour and now I'm suddenly completely locked out. No email saying I was banned - just suddenly getting a "can not find the server www.ultimateshinobi.org

Tried Firefox, IE, and GoogleChrome and get the same results. Dropped every security measure the computer has no luck. Tried a different computer on the same network - no luck. Service provider is Frontier and never had this issue before.

I really really want to get back on so I can tell the people who might be waiting for my post to just skip me. Please?

Guys I did nothing and the site is just back for me. I do believe it will resolve itself on it's own for you. Just wait. Maybe tomorrow maybe in 2 days, you'll just be able to log normally.

I am having the same issue and have been having this same issue for the past 36 hours. I have been contacted by several new users who have been having this problem. Many of them have told me that they are no longer interested in my forum because this.

The issue was with a server, it was corrected on Friday, and the devs have said the correction will take some time for everyone to see, it's all on your connection.

There are reports in the French community that things are improving for their users, which is great!

I can now view ForuMotion Support on Mozilla Firefox and Chrome. It's only a matter of time now before I have access to my forum.

TO my very limited understanding they alter your IP address. Back on page 8 Tonight put up a link to one that is free. Put in the address of the site you need to get to and it uses the proxies IP address instead of your own. I tried it and I was able to get back onto the website I couldn't access.

I would think everything should be A-OK by the weekend out.

Thanks Darren. Been working my [Language] off. Wife passed away almost a year ago . Just now getting back into running things. I will wait to see how it plays out.
