Members signature / activation issue?

Hi,
when I activate members,they enter the forum immediately without signing in.They need to be able to log in with a member user name.


I've activated signatures for members and in Users and Groups>User options>New account activation, "Admin".

What else can I do to address this problem please?

So after you activate new members, they can use the forum without logging in?

What exactly is wrong with the signatures?

I want members to sign in using their names each time they come to the forum please? They need to create their profile also.

It should be that way already, unless they do not log off from the forum when they leave, or the box for log on automatically is checked. If you want them to create a profile, you will need to make it where the profile fields are required for registration.

Thanks for your response Slg,I also believe that it should be like that automatically.The box for automatic is unchecked and I've changed the skin.

When I send an invitaton to members to join the forum,as soon as I activate it,they do not have a log in facility at all,they can just have an automatic connection to the forum without registration!!!

I've done every conceivable thing to redress this problem,can you recommend something please?

I don't really understand. They must be definitely logging in, without which they cannot view the forum based on the permissions set.

there's obviously an issue with this specific forum.

I've tried to delete it,it gives me the option in my personal email,"To make the deletion effective,please click here" When I click,it just takes me back into the forum,so it hasn't been deleted.What should I do now to delete this forum please?

To delete your forum, go into the admin panel>General>Forum Deletion

I've done that.
To complete the deletion process Forumotion send me a mail to confirm,the problem is that when I click the link,it takes me straight back to the forum and doesn't complete the deletion process at all.
