Homepage Message *text box* is stuck in neutral

I attempted to put a Homepage Message on my forum a couple of times.
I tried scrolling messages, but nothing but the script showed on the Homepage. (That's another issue, lol)

What I am left with, though - is a blank white text box I can't seemed to get rid of.



How can I rid my Homepage of this empty text box?

anyway, to make a scrolling text you can add this code and modify it to your wish:

<marquee direction=down scrollamount="20"> YOURTEXT </marquee>

the HP message automatically disappears. check if you have deleted ALL text from the Message content and title (right click, select all and delete).

Guess what . . . I deleted my cookies and such - and after I read your response, I when into admin and looked again at the Homepage message and found THIS:
<DIV><SPAN class=code>
<DIV>&nbsp;</DIV></SPAN></DIV>

I swear, it wasn't there earlier:-)

Sorry Luky . . . I didn't realize I was not to use color period. The rules say not to abuse color - I didn't realize I was.
