It's Slow

I am a chatbox moderator on this forum: http://musicjams.forumotion.com/

Though I've realized that it's very slow. Could this be due to the numerous chatbox's maybe the music player?

Please help.

I know it isn't the music player since I've had it and it wasn't slow. So it may possibly be the chat boxes since there's so much. The chat boxes probably need a long time to load and all so it gets really slow.

Yes, I do believe it's the chatboxes, but I don't want to jump to conclusions until forumotion staff tells me the cause of this.

Try viewing the full chatbox (/chatbox) and see if there is a difference in speed.

Well, I do that anyways. I don't need help with the chatbox.. I just want to know why it's so slow. We have a chatango chatbox, a cbox, then the chatbox forumotion has provided.

It's a lot for your forum to take all them chat boxes all trying to run at the same time and moving items also on your forum

I think it could be that that's over doing the speed of items working on your forum

I run 4 Chat rooms on my forum all have there own page and not one of them are the FM's chat box as its crap if you ask me.

Put a set of buttons on your forum that will open each chat box on its own this is the best way to keep them from running slow.

I only run one room at a time for my self and then that keeps my forum and chat rooms running smooth.

The more you have trying to run at the same time the slower your forum will run and it don't look good at all to new members.

I'm not having issues with the chatbox! All I'm saying is the forum is lagging and slow because of all these things! it takes a while after you click send/post for it to be published. I was just wondering if I could do anything to reduce the lagging.

If the forum is laggy try contacting the administrators. The people here won't most likely help you since you're not an admin on there.

Hey, Swaggy it's not your fault you have 3 chatboxes, a music player with over 50 songs, and many CSS codes, including transparency.. Most of the pictures are animates gifs too. So that's probably the reason. I'm not being stubborn.. Calm Down.

It is slow probably because of your scm player, chatango chatbox, other chatboxes too.
