Last Topics in Portal

I added in the suggestion section to have a way to distinguish which of the topics in the portal have a new post in them. From the home page and while navigating through the forum categories, you can see which areas have new posts since you read the thread because they are marked red. I couldn't see a way to make a distinction from the portal. Yes, the list is the most recent topics, but it doesn't, at least on mine, show which ones have a new post since I last read the thread. My suggestion thread was locked and the moderator said that it already exists. So, since it already exists, how can I do it?
