How to create a private group?

I tried to read everything here about privacy. And I set everything I could about my group from "guest" access to "members" access in the Special right area and the widgets area. Still, when I'm not logged in and I go to the address of our group I can see forum titles, "who is online" information and much more.
How can I make every information about our group be private, accessible only to members??

General>Categories and Forums
Click on a forum name
Permissions tab
View the forum, uncheck for guests.
Repeat this for all forums.

See if thats what you are looking for.

FYI - I think your solution for privacy settings is very complicated. And reaching this place for help was also very complicated for me as a new user.
