    Solved How to create a private forum to manually add members?

    I can't find my previous question on this in the solved pile. Basically, I want to know how to set permissions so I have to "Allow Access" like I did with my previous private forum. I tried copying the same permissions but I'm obviously doing something wrong.

    EDIT: I think I may have figured it out, but have discovered another related permissions issue. Some of my forums which I've selected ALL except for those who can post and reply, which I selected MEMBERS are showing up with the "Allow Access" option.

    the best solution will be to create a group with access to the forum/category you want and add manually the members you want to that group
