our group isn't private

We had a private group which no one could view unless they were a member until forumotion started some updates again and now we are visible to everyone and anyone.  The link is below and you can even post in the chat box which someone who is not a member had done today.  How can we get it to stay private?  I went and clicked on everything again but it isn't working and thank you

As a guest the only thing that shows up for me is the chatbox thing you have at the top of the homepage. Aside from that, the only thing I see is a forum called 'Tag Request and Pick up' but there are not any topics or anything in it.

I would double check the permissions of that one section, as this is probably why it is not going straight to the login page.

Thank you and it is closed to guests now.  But can you maybe answer this question?  Why does it stay closed only until there is maintence and then the group ends up being opened to guests and everyone again, and they can even post in the group or the chat box?  This happens all the time after maintence and thank you

It may have been a problem our end and we had to roll back our servers this means that some settings would be changed to it's default.

But as you have now changed it back we can't really tell you.

As you are the only one reporting this to us it may be just a isolated problem.

What exactly do you mean by guests using the chatbox?  Even if they could see it, they should not be able to use it unless they login.

True and that is why we can't figure out how they can use it.  We had it just the other day where someone came in and used our chat box yet she was not a member and so we logged out and went in and sure enough-we could even use it logged out.  Then after we  managed to reset it all again then it was private and not seen.  But it happens whenever there is maintence that our group seems to re open again

Is it the default chatbox?

No the Cbox we purhase separately.  No one should be able to even go in there except members once your group is private, but they do go in our chatbox when the group is left opened due to maintence

It is a strange issue that your settings seem to get reset after every maintenance.

How long has this been happening for you? Perhaps we could ask our pro admin to look into why this happens to you.

This is anytime you do maintence-we are  having issues now and some members can't copy and paste or send a pm.  These are the major problems right now--can't copy and paste, no pm notifications, cannot pm and the member list is gone at the top.  All these were there before maintence.  If one of you would like to join and see what we are talking about we will be happy to let you in
