solved button???????
where or what does the solve button look like, i cant seem to find it, i assume if a problem is resolved than selecting the solve button will lock the post, is that correct?
also, how can i shut off the delete post/topic for users? whatever they post they cant delete the full post, just be able to edit their post

Re: solved button???????
Hello.
I can only help you on your second question
since I dont understand your first one.
To forbid members to delete their own posts:
Go to admin CP, Categories and forums, select the forum that you want
select permissions and then select the advanced (i dont know exactly how it is called because my forum is in greek)
Then, it will display a detailed list of the permission and you can select
or diselect whatever you want.
Hope I helped a bit.

Re: solved button???????
thanks, got that handled, the solved button is found in the user & groups, than down in the users settings and labeled as "Display button [solved]"
Re: solved button???????
it doesnt lock a thread, when a post is made about a problem and you resolve the problem, you can then click edit on the original post ad click solved, this will automatically change the topic title to [solved] topic title.

the problem is, i have it turned on, but when i try to do it and go to the first post and click edit, theres no solved button or anything that would change it to solved.. you know what i should be looking for, or is this thing not working anymorE?

Re: solved button???????
i found it, but what if someone posts a topic, than someone replies, they cant hit edit on the person who replieds post, and than make it solved, so for it to work, they have to say something else, than go back and edit it than make it solved?
