Notifications not arriving

I have had similar and weird other trouble, but in the middle of a conversation, all my notifications just stopped and I didn't change anything. I am still even listed as following the topic.
Because of this, I missed an entire meeting!

Try clearing your browser's cache and cookies, also, try another browser.

I work customer service for another website.
I'm well aware of that generic answer.
Me not receiving email notifications to my email from a website has no connection to my browser cache... 
unless I am completely wrong?

I'm not sure whether you're talking about the notifications on the toolbar or notifications sent on e-mail, so I gave that answer which I thought was for the toolbar notification.

Anyway, since when did this happen? Are you the founder/admin of the forum?

I'm sorry I wasn't specific enough. It started just in the middle of this conversation so I would say about 1 week ago.
Yes, I started the forum. All my settings are correct and I didn't make any changes regarding said settings.

Many of the users are also having notification trouble. This is the 3rd time I've posted a help comment about it. Is there a specific guide posted somewhere that can educate us on all the settings at once?

However, I know, after much trial and error that my settings are right and i'm not receiving emails (no they are not in my junk mail).

Ok, before that happened, everything else was ok and you and your members were getting notifications via e-mail while no settings were adjusted until now?

Yes, and then now, all of a sudden the notifications started coming to me. Out of the 18 or so people in the forum NO ONE received the notifications and only 3 were at the meeting because of it.

It's really bad and I think we will find another website to use.
THis is NOT efficient at all.
It's in fact the opposite.

It might have been a temporary bug.
