Is there any way members can resize the photos they have submitted to their Gallery, or do they have to delete them and start again?

Thanks everyone

you should be able to choose special effects when you have clicked on a picture in your gallery, there is a resize option in there Smile

Sorry to rase this again, but this function does not seem to work.

You can access the special effects page, click on resize and choose the size required for the photo, and then click 'apply changes' but when you return to the Gallery the photo's still appear in the same size, no changes made at all.

Is there some other way to resize them?

Did you also checked the small box next to the Resize options before you clicked the "apply the chosen effect" button?

Yep, did all of that but nothing seems to alter the size of the image.

I have just had another fiddle with this. The image size DOES change, but only on the Special Effects page. The changes do not stay fixed, even though the Apply Special Effects button has been clicked.

I would appreciate any further help, thanks.

there are a few updates going on just no kirkby this may be affecting the gallery, keep trying and let me know if it gets sorted or not. I am sure when i tried resize, it saved the pic as a copy and i just deleted the original Wink

Thanks zinex. There still seems to be a problem with this.

Today I have selected one of my pics and resized it on special effects page. Picture changed size after clicking on the 'Apply' button. I then tried to change it to a black and white pic, clicked 'Apply' but then the size of the photo changed to a thumbnail size for some reason.

Tried to resize it again, picture changed size on special effects page, but when I looked at the photo on the Gallery page there was no change. It is as if the changes just are not being saved at all.

I am having the same issues, today I tried to turn a picture it turns in the special effects area but even though I selected save this picture to the gallery and then selected yes, it didn't.

There are quite a few niggly issues with the gallery, I know I probably shouldn't raise that here, I have submitted a separate request for something else, but seeing the gallery costs us money it would be great if these functions in it actually worked.

Cheers
