Domain/website has been deleted
First off, sorry if this is in the wrong section, but I don't come here often.
I am a co-admin of a website that we had put on "holiday" for awhile while we were working some things out. Another admin assured me that there were no fees and there was no chance that anything would happen to the site while it was down, and I believed him.
As of now, the domain has been removed and doesn't exist (guessing due to inactivity). This literally happened a few hours ago (I check the site every day), and was wondering if forumotion keeps temporary back-ups or if there was any way to recover the website? It has 5+ years of history and hundreds of thousands of posts and threads.
I will be happy to provide any additional info on an as-needed basis to any forumotion staff. I would appreciate a response as soon as conveniently possible. If there is a "fee" to recover the site, I don't mind. Thank you.

Re: Domain/website has been deleted
Hi,
Do you know the URL address used before buying the domain? The domain expires every year.
Regards,
Sir Chivas.

Yes I do, but didn't want to post it public in case someone wanted to take it (which would cause problems). I am PMing you it now.Sir Chivas™ wrote:Hi,

Nevermind, I think you just answered my question when I manually typed in the old name. That was the issue. Thanks!eaustinn36 wrote:Yes I do, but didn't want to post it public in case someone wanted to take it (which would cause problems). I am PMing you it now.Sir Chivas™ wrote:Hi,

Re: Domain/website has been deleted
Hi,
That isn't the URL that you had before. I'm talking about the URL that was used before buying the domain. The free one that is provided by the support forum.
Something like:
> youraddress.forumotion.com
> youraddress.2forum.biz
> youraddress.forum-free.org
etc..

Yes I know. As I mentioned above, the issue has been resolved, the domain name just expired. I typed in the original url and it loaded. Guess I just went into a panic... been a long day so I wasn't thinking of all the possibilities.Sir Chivas™ wrote:Hi,

I apologize for the double post, I meant to hit edit instead of quote; won't happen again.
Thanks again.
