Testing ground Empty Testing ground

members usually create new forums just for testing some new codes, or write down some ideas and this stuff - at least in slovenian forums. since i was creating forum i was thinking to add this so members could create in their own topic categorie ? so do you think that would be usefull - yes, no ? Smile

Can you explain little better your suggestion?

I think it isn't good idea, you can't do anything with just category or whatever, I have one forum for tryes too, on that I create skins or trying some codes, I don't know how category will help here, I think there need to be forum for tryis, but you need to be admin, so it isn't possible.

But I will wait with voting, for now my vote is no.

i was thinking more for coding, plots like it would write down ideas. skins ? no way - like u said you should be admin but for other members that would be good, i mean testing ground. they would be trying, learning  before they would actully post it.

You think on coding platform? I really don't know how it will look like, you need to have css for it, etc, and I think it will be just cimplicated, are you think on that admin have that platform? For members I'm for no, but for admin I can think.

What I believe Elle is asking for is a way to test stuff on your forum without changes impacting on your current forum.

This idea would actually be quite useful if you wanted to test out new Javascripts or CSS codes. I voted yes.
