Automatically subscribe to the topic you posted in?
Hi all! So I recently upgraded a forum that wasn't touched from the admin's side since a LONG time..
I applied the toolbar with notifications on it..
But normally it automatically subscribes to the thread when we post a reply, that isn't happening on this forum..
How do I fix this issue?
Forum Version : Phpbb3

Hi,
Check Profile --> Notifications Tab --> And see if you have the option under toolbar ticked - A new post in a watched topic

All are ticked.. And there's link like "start watching topic for replies".. we have to click it manually to get notified even if we have posted in that topic
Re: Automatically subscribe to the topic you posted in?
And you also have this option ticked yes within your profile preferences: Always notify me of replies. ?

I think it is. However you can disable that option further by going to the notifications tab and unticking the box that says email.
So you could turn that on, then go to the notification tab and uncheck the box under email that says 'A new post in a watched topic'
p.s I signed up to your forum just now and made a reply in this topic: http://ntsd.open-board.com/t26133-new-here
Could you reply and I'll see if I get the toolbar notification?

Hi,
I got the notification in the toolbar.
I have that option selected in my preferences. So I do think its that option needs to activated.
