Wrong IP's in dashboard
Hello,
I have notice that the IPs of the users, that appear in my dashboard, doesn't seem to match the real IP's of the users.
For instance, my IP is 79.168.xxx.xxx (have hidden the last numbers), but in the Forumotion dashboard appears like this: 173.245.51.109
A quick screenshot:
I have a custom domain, registed outside of the Forumotion, and i think its becouse im using Cloudflare. The Ips are under the Cloudflare network.
I know that i can disable Cloudflare, but that will have impact in my website speed and security agains spam, something that i don't want...
Appears the the Forumotion servers aren't converting the IPs from Cloudflare to the real users Ips...
What can i do?
Thanks

If it's been caused by an external factor then you can't really do anything and IP tracking is never 100% accurate at the best of times.

Because Forumotion is a hosted a site with no possible modifications being made by the user on the server end then it might not be possible to correct the issue. I noticed all the above software support was all for either paid hosting or independent hosting with much more modifications than Forumotion.
I'll ask our Pro Admin who works at FM if anything can be done but like I said I'm not sure.

Re: Wrong IP's in dashboard
Hello,
Im aware of that. In this case is something in the server side.
To be exact, is needed install the Apache module mod_cloudflare:
https://www.cloudflare.com/resources-downloads#mod_cloudflare
Is something easy of do, even for Forumotion, and don't appears break anything, but is on the server side.
Cloudflare is globaly used by a major part of the users...
Anyways, thank for your support.
Will wait some answer.
