A few questions I need help with about posting

I hope this is the correct forum to ask this.

I got these 2 messages from a member and I truly have no clue what to tell her. Thanks for any help you can give me.


when I go to type a message it won't let me into the message box unless I start my message with an emoticon.  Then my message starts in the middle of the message box.  I'll attach a photo so you can see it.

My second question....is anyone else having the problem of when the go to the next page on a thread that it goes to the bottom post and not to the top?  This has been happening to me for about a month or so now and it is quite annoying.

**I am editing this to add……when I refresh a page or add a post, it goes to the top of the page instead of the last post, like it used to. Why is this?

My member is still having the problem. She has been a member for several years, and this happened all of a sudden. Any suggestions?

Is this member using a browser ? (e.g. firefox, explorer, chrome ) I've made a quick test and am able to write in the editor fine.

I will ask her. She is the only member having problems.

She said it is the same computer she has been using for 6 years and she uses internet explorer. She doesn't have this problem with any other site.

I am assuming they are using IE7< ? The textarea is displaced on that version and lower.

Add this to your CSS :
Display > Colors > CSS stylesheet

If that does not work please ask them to provide the version of IE they're using.
