Minor questions on posting in our forum...

Howdy! I'm the founder and admin of DeathSquadsGame.com. For the longest time (3 years), our members have noted the following issues:

1. When adding a PHOTO via the img button it automatically places the code on the very end of the message, regardless where the cursor is on the message. Sometimes we want to add an image after the text is written but it always go tot he end. How can this be fixed?
   
   
2. When viewing a pic heavy thread, none of the photo's appear until they have all loaded instead of appearing as they finish loading. Our forum is very pic heavy and our members are from all over the world (with different connection speeds.) Anything that can be done about this?

There is no need to PM any staff here about this.
Both questions are pretty much self explanatory.

For the first question.
If the image is being added at the end of the post and you want it at the top/beginning.

Then either upload the image and add it first, then type your text under it.
Or copy the image code and past to wherever you want it in the post.

For the second question.
Well there is nothing you can do but wait for the post/thread to load.
If you have a lot of images in any given post or within a thread., Then you should use a image host that offers multi image uploads and the option to add click-able thumb nail code

When using image host such as this
( be sure to always select family safe for images) or you will get adult ad's when they are clicked, So just choose family safe and your fine with using image host such as these.

See if you have a number of large images all in one thread, then yes this can take time for a page to load, So you are better off using click-able thumb nails because they will load faster.

Other then that depending on a persons speed then some threads can take longer then others. And it would be like this for any web page someone with slower speeds visits.

Hmmm... let me try to be polite. I don't appreciate being patronized. Of course anyone could copy and paste code to wherever it is needed. The problem is that we (as a community) type lots of involved text related to our images. In many occasions, it is necessary to put an image AFTER you have written some text (so you are not at the end of your text) and this creates an issue of inconvenience.

I understand that the issue is a minor inconvenience, but as an admin it is my job to search for answers... in case that there was one. I (still) do not know if there is a tag that would "allow inserting images where the cursor is located" versus the default "always insert images at the end of the text." Just like auto-resizing images (nice hidden feature.) If there is not such fix, then just state so.

Just like #2 issue... people would have to live with the problem.

So, the question STILL stands. Is there a tag/feature/option that allows the inserting of images where the cursor is located, rather than the end of the text?

The only way to add it where you want it is to add the first time, not after you finnish writing the text.
