Hey guys this is my first post here so please, if i posted in the wrong area don't blow up on me.

On my forum at www.brotech.forummotion.com, i am trying to adjust things (Change pictures, icons, change some settings). But half of the time when i click on a link, it takes me back to the home tab. This is getting frustrating, because half the time after i have clicked save, it takes me back to home, and on top of that, it doesn't save what i had did. Is this a bug, or is it something i have done?

Are you taking a long time before you are pressing the save button?

Try this:  clear your browser's history and cache.

The effect (going to home tab) is ushually instantly, because it's like if you are going to edit your pictures (a link path by about 4), sometimes when you get to the 3nd link and click it, it will go back to home

It should be doing this:

Home -> Display -> Pics management -> Advanced management

But sometimes does this:

Home -> Display -> Pics management -> (Takes you back) Home

I will try what you said.

It could be that you are taking too long and your session is timing out.

Sorry i didn't specify. When i posted that path, i meant just navigating in general, like if you wanted to change a curtain setting. I only take about 1 second to get to the link i am clicking, and when i am editing or changing something, i only take about 1 to 2 minutes.

Just wiped everything from the beginning of time, and the issue is still here. I'd really hate to have to switch to a different browser over this. i'm not even sure if that would fix it.

Didn't fix it. The problem is actually worse in my other browsers.

Just make a test on another browser, then clean your cache and cookies.

actually, you are redirected to the home page when your connection failed (for example if you have an internet key is when the connection goes away)

this because your IP changes, and so you are redirected to the home page of ACP, with a new "key" in the url. Before being redirected maybe did you have a disconnectio from the net?

This makes a lot of since. I am building the forum at my school's wifi, and to be able to access the forum i have to use zen mate to bypass the filter (apparently i'm that much of a threat to them). But due to my extension, and the filter trying to get back in, it could be causing the problem (possibly by restarting over and over?).

Is there anything i can do to fix this, or is it permanent? (Also buttercup i have tried both of those ideas (i am using google chrome)).

And you still have the problem?
