What is a mass private message

A mass private message is like a newsletter you send to your members. The only difference is, it is not an email but a private message (PM).

Send a private message to a group of members

Example: Buttercup, who is the moderator of this group, can send a probate message to all members of the group.

How to set up this option?

Enter you administrative panel:

Admin panel wrote: Users & Group > Groups> Group Administration

Then, edit the wished group Edit

Permissions of sending a private message in bulk

- Members: Members can send mass private message to a group
- Usergroups: The moderator of a group can send a mass private message
- Moderator: All moderators of the forum can send a mass private message
- Administrators: Only admins can send a mass private message

You can send only a mass private message to a group having less than 1000 members (to avoid errors during the sending)

If a group has more that 1000 members, you won't be able to select the group:

Please note: If you see a difference between the number of member in the group (for example 500) and the number of message in the sending box (example 450), it seems 50 members have refused to receive mass private messages.
