Muting In Chatbox
Hello, my name is Halcy, and i am borrowing darkline's account, today i am here to disscuss something about the chatbox...
Well. I need to know HOW to add a /mute command. What does it do? It will disable the person where it is used on from talking. But HE, or SHE, will still be abble to see* chat, its annoying to ban people from the chat, understand? Well, we also do a /unmute command. It will allow the person to talk again. And maybe with second-time? As example, i do /mute lelele12 180 then lelele12 is muted for 3 minutes, but the maximum amount of seconds would be 600. (10 minutes)
is there some code for this?
or an way to ADD this command to the chatbox? I would appreciate if you help me <333333

Re: Muting In Chatbox
This is the same option as the /ignore option found in AWC (avacweb.com).

Re: Muting In Chatbox
No it isn't, only moderators can use it, and it will make it that the person can NOT talk, /ignore makes it only the user of the /ignore command can not see the chat of the person he/she ignored.
Re: Muting In Chatbox
/ignore will ignore incoming chat, not outgoing. It's the same as the foe list in your profile. So? Swell, what's the issue? If you kick them off chat a couple of times they'll understand. And that's exactly where the administrator or moderator role should kick in based on the forum rules. Either give them a proper warning or change the value of their reputation bar. So, either that or... : There's a special section for requests like these. It's new: https://help.forumotion.com/f37-community-coding-and-analysis-zone You could probably kindly ask @JScript to write you up something.

Re: Muting In Chatbox
we do not have that setting in the chatbox sorry but we do have a boot system that will Boot the member from the chat box the code is /kick
Re: Muting In Chatbox
@Ape : That's what I said, just kick the member out of chat, multiple times in a row if needed. If that isn't sufficient, please relate to my prior post.
