Description of problem

I need help changing that on my site.

I just now had to make a new account here just to ask a question since I couldn't remember the user name I had from long ago and it said my email address was already used ........well since I have no idea what my user name was I couldn't use my old email addy so I switched to the one I have for this user name.

I know the original Founder has to be gone a certain amount of time and that part has happened.

I am actually the one that runs this site and pays for the Domain Name.

YES I did which is why I said in my first post

And that certain amount of time is 6 months.

I am the Admin. CEO.President and Treasurer of the site which means it is mine. (16 years now)

I had a friend get to be the Founder back in the beginning but he is gone and has not been doing anything the last 3 years and I haven't heard from him since he left in May.

I am also the owner of the domain name.

I just want to know how to switch that Founder part back to me (if that is in the "Administration Panel" or that it takes a Forumotion Administrator........and you are welcome to email me with that information.

Yes of course I read that also and actually did a copy and paste of that on my last post.

I was just hoping that it would be a simple and fast way to do something like this instead of bugging Buttercup and waiting for that since I am busy running my 7 pc's 24/7 since I am also a founder of the Einstein Project and Cern (semi-retired physicist) and I also help programmers and processors around the world daily.

But if it has to go through Buttercup then I guess I will pm her.

(I never ask questions BEFORE reading the rules and pages like the ones here with the info)

I'm sure you do get rookie questions all the time which is why I pointed all those things out in easy to read posts with all the info before you even asked.

No unfornatelly there isn't no easier way, even more unfornate you may have to send the pm to either a manager or support moderator for tonight, because Buttercup just got back from vacation today and due to this, she hasn't enabled her pms yet because today was spent catching up on the work she missed while on vacation. She should hopefully have it re enabled tommorow though .

Sorry if the system is an inconvience to you, also there is no problem in asking, I just wanted to let you know it was in the tutorial in case you might have missed it .

YES, I just found that out before I came back here (Buttercup not taking a pm)

Thanks Brandon..........it isn't really a big deal but I just wanted to take care of this so I can just stick to all the other computer programming and processing and all the rest I have to do (including the updates I do on my phpBB site)

So I will just check back and see when Buttercup is back from vacation.
