Follow this steps once you download AppVerification:
1. Run application and click on I Agree when GENERAL CONDITIONS OF USE OF OUR SERVICE appears
2. Insert your forum name and choose your forum domain
3. Login as administrator
4. Click Next on Terms of Service
5. Choose one or more categories from the list and click Next
6. Click Save Forum Settings

Message box will appear that your settings are updated successfully and your account will be verified!

PLEASE NOTE THAT YOUR FORUM MUST BE VERIFIED WITHIN 8 DAYS FROM THE MOMENT YOU RECEIVE THIS MESSAGE... ALL UNVERIFIED FORUMS WILL BE REMOVED!

This is a Spam. Forumotion will never ask you to download anything. Nor will impose penalties for banishing your forum unless you broke the TOS.

Are you getting any Warnings On your ACP ? if NO then there is nothing to worry about ( This looks to me that it is a spam Email sent From a spamer.

We do not send Emails out like that to members unless you have Broke our TOS if you inbox me with a test account on your forum with admin right's i will take a look to see if you have a warning on your forum if you Don't then there is No way this Email was sent by us.

as i said PM me a test account With admin Right's but Don't post it here in main forum.

I have just recently left a hosting company with a current domain still in affect. I have been getting all kinds of demand letters saying I must act now with my domain etc. All were spammers.
Look in the email header and you can see if the sender came from FORUMOTION.COM. I would copy and pm the header to a team member here.

Hello @stevewildman This Email was not sent by PM it was in an Email i have made a report and am talking to the member in Pm And Email

I am sending this Email to The head office Tonight but the office is shut right now so they will get it tomorrow.

There is nothing to worry about this looks to be a Spam Email and we are not sure where it has come from ... it may have our Email address in it but this Don't say it's from us.

We do not ask members to download any files in an Email.

If anything simpily just has the word download, that should automatically indicate a dumbass is behind the other side.

As far as i can say right now is this Email was sent by smtpcorp.com using a FM address.
We DO NOT use this Address ( smtpcorp.com) If you get an Email from us saying sent via smtpcorp.com This is not us Do not Click any links or downlaod anything on that Email. We Do not ask you to downlaod anything in our Emails.

Please feel free to PM me if you have had this Email and i will talk you over what to do next if you have clicked the links and downloaded the items asked in the Email.

Know that if we have something to communicate to our users, we first do it on the official support forum and social networks pages. We can also display targeted messages on the administration panel of forums. But sending emails that asks to enter the user name and forum password, NEVER.

This is a clear phishing attempt   

As we have gave you the answer to this problem and told you this is a scam Email i will lock this thread
