Can not see Font in Edit box?

Not sure if this is the place to be posting this, but I am now back onto my forum after a long absence.

I went in and tried to post a new thread, and the view box background is white, and when I type, the font is white and I can not see what I am typing. I tried to change the color from the scroll bar above but can not. When I preview it, the text is there and visable. How do I make the edit box text different from the background color so I can see it while typing?

Follow the instructions below for changing the font color of the editor.

For source code mode add this to your CSS :
Administration Panel > Display > Colors > CSS stylesheet

.sceditor-container textarea{ color:#000 !important }

For WYSIWYG mode create a new script :
Administration Panel > Modules > Javascript codes management > Create a new script

Placement : In all the pages
Paste the code below and submit :

Sorry, but one other question. When I go and put a link to a site or an event, you can barely see the link since it is almost the same color as the background. What is the specific item that I need to change the color on in the editor so it can be clearly seen?

Yes, found the page to change colors, but I do not know what the actual name of what I want change is? I am putting in a link in a post and you can barely see it. see attachment.

can you please Screen shot what you see as i see the links fine ok light Blue but still see them fine

I tried that but then how do I attach it to the link. It asks for a url?

take a screen shot then use the Forum button when saved then get the bottom link and using this tool add the link Then your done

or this, not sure if I am doing this correctly?
