Creating Moderators

Hi all,

I need to make a member a moderator but it's a long time since I last did that and I can't suss it out.

Can anyone help please including how to get 'moderator' to appear in his posts.

Either I'm mis-reading that link or maybe I didn't make it quite clear what I was trying to achieve. I already have the ranks set up.

As Draxion previously said, you could read this tutorial in order to achieve what you describe.

You can follow these steps : ACP(Admin Control Panel) > Users and Groups > Ranks > Rank Administration > Ranks > Add new rank
Then you fill all the necessary fields and you choose a default image unless you have custom-made ranks. Finally, you hit save and the rank will have been created.

Thanks for the response guys but I seem to be missing something here.

Following the procedure above sets up the ranks which I did on starting my website. However, what I need is to be able to insert 'moderator' and star rating into my new moderators posts as in the screen capture above.

I can't see how to do that in the above procedure..... unless I'm missing something.

Admin Panel > Users and Groups > Search Users > find the person you want to give the rank > scroll all the way down and assign them your rank via "Rank Title"

Did you give the member the rank? This type of rank has to be manually given to the member.
