Does forumotion forums contain an API?

I own a minecraft server and would like to make a plugin that can access our forums. I would like to make ranks on my forums that match the ranks in game, and when players get promoted, my plugin would automatically change that players rank on the forums through some sort of API or something.

Also something I asked before that never got answered, but is it possible to submit a post/thread through a link to the forums?
