    Solved Custom Domain Name Keeps Reverting Back to *.forumotion.co.uk

    We have set up a custom domain name for our forum. The original web address is greasejunkies.forumotion.co.uk and our custom web address is forum.greasejunkies.co.uk.

    However, when I set it to the custom domain name, every day, it automatically reverts back to greasejunkies.forumotion.co.uk for no reason and no warning.

    Why would this be happening?

    I have seen this before and i had to report it to our head office.

    I am not sure why it was going on but i will send my boss a PM now Smile

    Indeed there was a small problem : because you had a domain name on Forumotion before having the one you currently have, and you didn't delete it from your forum, our daily system thought your Forumotion domain name was over (because it was seeing it as a FM domain and not an external domain name). In consequences, everyday it deleted it from your forum, making you puting it again and again ...

    So, we made a correction on it, it should be ok now Wink
