Description of problem

Hello,

I have made a forum. I know there's has been an forum on that url before. Is there a way to restore the old backups of the forum? I'm talking about backups from 2015/2016. If that's possible it would be amazing!

It was a forumotion forum before it got deleted. The admin deleted it last year and I was hoping to get the old files back because it contains a lot of memories for a lot of members. So forumotion doesn't store the old backups for deleted forums?

EDIT: How can i restore those files?

All your backups will be in that tool with the dates i have gave.

It says there are no backups available for my forum!

Hmm That is strange as i have the log of backup's

can you take a screen shot of the backup page for me so i can send it on to my head office and ask why there is no backups your end.

okay i see the problem  you used the address of an old forum and the backup system will not let you back up from a old forum as you was not the founder of that forum back then.

when the forum is deleted the address becomes free to any one that wants it but the data is lost.

what i see is the old dates and you don't that is down to the data we have to hold on that address. So sadly there is Nothing i can do or any other staff member as the data is now gone all we have is a log of the old account.

And the log of that old account can't connect to mine? Really a lot of people would love to see that data back on the forum, it was a old rpg and the admin suddenly deleted it all so everyone was really sad about it.
The point is that I could select the old dates and that is processed the back up but didn't install it. Now i only see the screen above

As i have said your forum only took the address of the old forum and nothing else,

All the data I have is the old backup dates the dates have no real data other than dates.

As you was not the founder of that forum at that time the backup will not work it will just give a system error like it is already.

So as I have said I'm am so so sorry but there is Nothing I can do to get that data back as it was removed after 3 months of the date the forum we deleted.

The point is this just because you took the old address of a forum it don't mean the old data for that forum comes with it.

All the old founders data is lost when the forum is deleted after 2 months even for that founder.
