Packages and disabling ads

I am currently developing a forumotion forum and decided that I want to disable ads. I know that a while ago, forumotion added some packages and that those changed the way that some things work.

Looking in the admin panel, I see that the Advanced package offers me some more storage, the ability to use an external domain, https and disabling ads. The storage is useless but I like the last 3.

Now, before I buy this package, my question is:will buying it mean that I will automatically gain those extra features, or does it mean that I will get the ability to buy those features? In other words, will purchasing the package disable ads for me and my members?

I see. When I buy the package I can select the option to disable ads and pay directly. I bet I'll pay more than I would have before the packages, but I guess forumotion needs money as well.
