Description of problem

When clicking a button (for example, thumbs up) the page redirects and you have to click again to get back to the topic you were on, and then you have to scroll down/next page to get back to the last visited location on the thread.

How can I prevent the redirect using either javascript or css? I am not the founder so do not have access to the html.

I've added both the css and javascript based on that tutorial. Was able to easily disable the vote bar and the thumbs down. Thank you so much for your help! I've been trying to get this to work correctly for several weeks now! Once again, you're a rock star!

One more question though. Is it possible to get the number of votes to display on the icon (I have a like button for the image). If you hover over the button, it tells how many votes for that person, but there is also a number to the right of the button. I would like to either eliminate the number or move the number to the top of the Like button if possible. Do you know if that is possible?

I have it working now with the exception of the number ... can't seem to get rid of the number or get it to show up on top of the like button.
