Like\Tweet replacement

I would like to use only the Like\Tweet buttons from the widgets but dont want to open a big widget box only for these tiny buttons. It is possible to place the Like\Tweet buttons to the header?

Click the modify ison on the widget and get the coding then place it in the homepage message or in an announcement.

The message box is not as big like the widget box but still too loose for these tiny buttons. I rather try to integrate it to the template of page header and post here how to do when succeeded.

What do you mean not big enough?  Add it so we can see it.

Oops something went wrong with the Like\Tweet\+1 widget. The facebook button dissapeared, the twitter button remained but lost its visual style button and it is now just a "tweet" text link.

It happened after I set a twitter account to the forum, maybe it caused this?

Please add it so guests can see it.

Added it as homepage message. Previously both image button were visible. Now only the tweet button and not as image button just a "tweet" text link.

Really? Here is a screenshot, it looks for me. The red box shows where is now and how it seems, the green box shows where I wanted to place.

I saw that in firefox but now checked in edge and see the right button what you. Later I will check at home in chrome.

But the facebook button dissapeared in your view too. It is because yet I didnt set facebook page for the forum? It will be visible after that?

are the settings for the facebook button enabled?

It is okay now. Im just move the mouse arrow on it and the button appeared, since it works normally. Easiest debug ever.

However Im affraid move it to the place of the green box will be not as easy...

I didnt enabled in settings nor facebook neither twitter but I saw both. Then the facebook dissapeared when I set a twitter page to the forum. Maybe when I set facebook page too then it will come back.

Update: I added facebook account to my profile also unliked the twitter account in the stteings but the facebook button still not visible. Besides I have no idea how to place the buttons to the right-top of header, perhaps better if I forget these buttons.

That is another like and tweet button not the same. What you posted share the content of a topic. The like and tweet widget share the homepage. Dont need to activate that for the widget.

I dont know whats wrong with the widget. Yesterday became good, now it is bad again. Like button still missing, tweet button is broken again. I have had enough of these buttons.

We have not reached even the operability of these buttons. The original idea, the replacement of these buttons to the header is not on the horizon either.

I give some more days to this topic, maybe something happen, but then rather mark as solved to not spam the forum. It is not so important, it was just an idea which caused me already more annoyance than it deserve.
