Start Watching This Forum vs Stop Watching This Forum

I have looked in the search for this .

Basically when I am looking in a forum in my site . Under the posts . It will either say " Stop watching forum " or " Start watching forum " .

What does that mean for me ? What changes ?

What does that mean for a member or a guest viewing that forum ?

Thank you . I would like every forum to be watched . Just in case . But unfortunately I have too many to keep track . It's not that important to me as I don't have enough activity .
But I just recently installed " New Guest Counters " and " Pages Read Counters " . Very interesting stats .

Yes, you will receive a notification when a user create a new topic in a watched forum. You can activate the type of notification in your profile settings to be alerted by email, push notification or via the Toolbar in this case.
