Chat Limits

Hello everyone,

I created a code for my forum that uses chat as a roleplay base with different roleplay locations (custom channels, not regular forum channels).

After a player finishes roleplaying, they can save the chat, and it will be stored in a visual novel format, with characters dialogues shown as speech bubbles. All this is saved in a form of a single forum post.

I have a few questions regarding chat limits:

1. If 30+ people are roleplaying at the same time, will the chat history be automatically deleted when it reaches a certain number of messages?
2. What is the maximum length allowed for a chat message?
3. How many messages can be saved in the chat archive?

You can specify this in ACP > Modules > Chatbox > Configuration > Number of archived messages. You can specify a value between 400 and 2000.

The chat archives simply consider the number of archived messages, despite how many users have contributed in it Wink
