It is possible to make the time non military?

to have non military time on my Forum? And i want to make my forum more fit to the screen you can say, But i cant figure out how. I want it center please help.

Also i want to make my forum priate how do i do that?

priate ? guess private . ok so u wanna be able to approve registration of other users correct ?

1) you wanna go to admin panel / styles/ pictures and colors/ colors over there choose forum width and make it larger put 80 or 90 or 100 whatever you want .
2) you wanna do to users and groups/ user settings and choose new user activation mark admin ( no user will be added unless u accept him/her)

No i want it so you have to log in to see it and that you but no one has answered the non military time question
