User Name Problem

Hi,

I Have Recently Set up a Forum.

I Have One Problem though, And I Was Wondering If You Guys could help.

Well heres The Problem;

I've Signed up as Admin to access my Admin Panel and I want to Register as a Normal User but I Cant Because The E-mail Wont come through to my E-mail Address.

Am I Doing something Wrong?

I don't know why you want to do this (I know there can be legitimate uses but there seem to be a lot of hackers and weird people around, recently), but the simple solution is to have a specific email address for the account.
You can't have the same email for more than one user..

It is Supposed to Send me a Confirmation E-Mail for my account.

I know, but you need an email adress for that user.

You have to get a new email address and register with it.

Then you should get the confirmation email.

I Dont though.

Ok go to admin panel=> User and Groups=> On the left it says "Inactive users" Click that that and activate them......

You may also want to verify that in users > user settings

you can pick whether a new registration is activated by the administrator or by the user.

if it is the administrators, you will always have to review new members and activate their accounts yourself.
